A summary of this article :

The ISO Survey of Certifications is a survey of the number of valid certificates to ISO management system standards done annually worldwide. The latest results of the Survey are for 2020 which show an estimation of the number of valid certificates as of 31 December 2020.

The scope of the 2020 Survey remain unchanged from the previous edition with a total of 12 ISO management system standards included.

The overall results show an increase, from 2019, of 18% of the total number of valid certificates for the 12 management system standards covered in the survey.

Part of this significant increase is due to the important growth in the certification to ISO 45001; this standard was published in 2018 and consequently had limited number of certifications in the previous edition of the survey.
